News for Point Radio will consist of a 30 minute talk show once a week. Within this show there will be interviews, viewers calling in, updated weather, and more. Broadcast Journalism students will be involved in the talk show each week and will have varying tasks as well as creative liberty for show ideas.

Hi there, I’m Rebecca, the Music Director for Point Radio. My job is to find the hottest songs on the billboard charts, purchase them, and organize them by genre to play on the station. I screen each and every song so our students can enjoy clean music ranging from pop to rock and alternative, Christian contemporary and contemporary adult. I consider all song requests so if there’s a song that gets your study mode going, let me know!

This year we really want to increase our presence at PLNU, so look for our banner at music/media events and come to our table or booth for free stuff and fun times! We’re planning Point Loma’s first ever Christmas radio play simulcast for the first week of December! And in the Spring you can expect even more! As always, listen to us online to find out what’s happening, not only on campus but all over San Diego!
